Opening for National Acts

The Caruso band enjoyed notoriety on the U.S. college circuit while opening for many national
music acts, including Corey Hart, Joan Jett, John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, and
New Kids On The Block.  Caruso also warmed up for UB40 and Burton Cummings of

Caruso opened for 
Corey Hart in Ohio.  Corey rocketed out of Montreal, Canada with the hits "Never Surrender," "Sunglasses at Night," and "Everything in My Heart."		 A backstage pass from Caruso's appearance with Joan "I Love Rock & Roll" Jett. Caruso with John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band at Muskingum College, Muskingum, OH. "On the Dark Side," from the "Eddie and the Cruisers" soundtrack, scored Cafferty a top 10 hit on the Billboard charts. 16 Magazine printed this photo of Caruso after they opened for New Kids On The Block.
Rick Springfield with Caruso in Detroit, MI.  Rick had just released his first album, "Working Class Dog," and had a hot single with "Jessie's Girl."
