I bought my CARUSO cassette the first day I heard you guys in May 1986 at Lakeland Community College's Spring Manheim. I saw you perform at The Sahara Club in Willoughby Hills, OH with my friends, Margaret and Lori. I remember that night was so fun! I took pictures of Margaret on stage with you guys and one of you took my camera and snapped one of me and her dancing below. My divorce had become final in June at the age of 22. I made a new friend (Becky) at one of your shows at Spanky's East in Painesville, OH. |

Becky was in love with Rob, and when she noticed I was crunching on Joe, she thought we would be good buddies to go to the shows! Even though I had only the one cassette, I can't believed it lasted as long as it did. From May 86-87 I must have played it a million times. Thank GOD I had enough pictures of all you guys and JOE (hehehe) kept me going like I was a teenager with a crush on a band. I even got kissed on the cheek by Joe one time and it was a BIG DEAL! |

By September we were asked to be on the Caruso baseball team against Spanky's West (or was it East?) Here are several pictures of that cloudy but fun day. I moved away to Arizona in Oct '86, and living in the desert with my Mom, it was very depressing. Becky would call sometimes and rub it in that she just saw you guys. I could put in the tape while driving, be singing along and remember my friends and I getting ready to go out sing Modern Girl and Emerald City. I can picture the way my friends danced to She's In Love With You and YYY! |
