CARUSO 2008 |
|
For the 2008 CARUSO reunion show, Dave and Rob Caruso brought back vocalist / bassist Richard "Quinn" Quenneville (The Imposters), guitarist and vocalist Walter Anthony (CARUSO / The Imposters / Caruso Trio / The Room Upstairs), drummer Eric Freeman (A Crude Interest / The Room Upstairs) and guitarist Lee Thomas (CARUSO). Joe Caruso added sax and guitar to several tunes. At the break, Rob's eldest daughter, Natalie Caruso, delighted the audience by singing "To Sir With Love." |

"When Rob and I were planning the 2008 CARUSO show, we wanted to make it the most enjoyable and musically satisfying of all the reunions so far. Thanks to the incredible energy and generosity of all the people involved, I can honestly say that 2008 was definitely the best yet. Jamming with Walter and Eric on and off through the years continues to be a blast. Playing with Lee and Quinn after all this time was phenomenal! And what could possibly top being onstage with your brothers? Nothin'! (Thanks, guys -- and that includes you, Mike!) We'd like to thank all the musicians and crew, Rick and Will for working the door, Carol, Kim, Natalie, Julie, Karen, Wiz and Dave Flynn, all the photographers and everyone who ever bought our music and came to our shows." Dave Caruso "It was great playing AND listening to the other guys. When you + Rob + Quinn were singing harmonies, it totally kicked ass! I hope that it works out where you guys can play together again sometime." Eric Freeman "Thanks for asking me to be a part of the CARUSO reunion show. I had an amazing time! Being onstage and seeing you guys made 20 years melt away. The evening definitely went by way too fast. I've heard nothing but good things." Lee Thomas
"My friends and I totally enjoyed the Caruso Reunion Concert this weekend! What an awesome show! Thanks again for organizing this show every year -- I look forward to it every summer!"
